This is fun & I've done it with my kids & grandkids. Use pans
Chicka/o
for ur forms (cake pans, loaf pans, etc).I pick them up at yard sales &

thrift shops. Grease em with Vaseline & fill them with QuikCrete (mix

according to the directions on the bag). Decorate with colored stones,

til the QuikCrete has some stiffness to it & THEN press in the hands/feet.
Let them dry at least 24 hours, then turn them out of the pans. Let them
''cure'' another 24 to 48 hours..then line ur walkway. I've also
experimented with color using crushed sidewalk chalk & kool aid powder.let
ur imagination go wild. Have fun & create memories.

For simple round stones you can use the round forms for setting
dark love
concrete around posts. They are usually cardboard tubes & you can cut them

to the thickness desired. Place the cut form down, then dig out the area

in the center to the same depth as ur form. You can then fill with

concrete or cement. For a square or rectangle, you can dig out the shape,

then use thin boards for the sides. Put all four sides down, then stake
them on the outside so they hold the shape. You can then fill with
concrete or cement. For both, you remove the form after the
concrete/cement sets up. As a note, there are additives you can dump into
the cement when mixing it up to change the color. Home Depot, Lowes, or
just about any home improvement place should have what you need.

My wife and I scoured new homesites and collected rejected

bricks by the dozens. You can make squares out of bricks in a pattern.
